Dan Potter began his HVAC business, Potter’s Heating & Repair, the year of 1979 in the small town of King City in Northwest Missouri. His wife, Teresa, was and still is the company’s bookkeeper. Their son, Brett, joined the company as service technician/installer in 1993 and has since become a partner. The company grew, serving top contractors in surrounding counties, while Dan and Brett completed several HVAC courses and certifications.
When the Bryant Company offered the Potters a dealership in Branson in 2000, the move was made as they had always loved to visit this area and saw it as a great opportunity for the business and their family. The company name was changed to Tri-County Heating & Cooling and has been a success from the start. The Potters attribute that to God’s favor as they strive to do business with Christian ethics and quality craftsmanship.

These people are good, honest, Christian people who care about their work and the people they work for. In today’s world, this kind of company is hard to find. It sure is a relief to have hot air in the condo. Over the last year, my wife has complained about the heat, and being “cold.” I just wrote it off as “poor circulation of air,” which is exactly what it was. Two months prior to Dan coming out, we had the heating company that installed the units come to check the system to see why it was not heating the large room, since this was only the second year of use. They checked it out and said the unit was operating properly. It was running properly, but not heating correctly. Dan came, checked the fuses and installed new ones in the dampers, now giving us heat down where it is needed. The blown fuses blocked all the outlets, not letting the air flow to the room. Since I have never had this type of unit in any homes I have owned, it was great to have someone who keeps up on the newest equipment and knows how to repair and maintain it. Thanks! P.S.
